Halloweekend Event in St. Johnsbury is a Success

November 1, 2024 can be a quiet day of the week as families wind down from trick-or-treating, and costumes and decorations start to slump. Not this year!

This time, the NEK Young Professionals Network and the NEK Chapter of the Welcome Wagon teamed up to bring hosts, participants, and local neighbors together for a fun mixer at the St. Johnsbury Distillery

St J Welcome Table

Attendees sipped on artfully crafted cocktails and mocktails while mingling and meeting others from the St. Johnsbury area. Our NEK Chapter events are posted to our Events page on the website, on the Get NEK'd Events Calendar,  and on the NEK Chamber's website. In addition to digital publication, you will always see our bright green sign outside the door of an event location, so please stop on by!

Activities and Prizes

It can be a bit daunting to meet strangers at an in-person mixer. We've all been there, and don't worry! Our friendly Welcome Wagon project manager, Theresa, or the NEK YPN Steering Committee Members can help get you situated when you first arrive.

Bingo Halloweekend

We also know that sometimes, it's easier to meet people with an ice breaker, so at our Halloweekend event we created a thematic Bingo card. And like any proper Bingo game, there was a prize for the first attendee to connect with other attendees to complete a row of Bingo!

Attending Welcome Wagon Events

Hosting 1-on-1 can seem a bit daunting, so the NEK Chapter of the Welcome Wagon is working hard to plan events to connect in a group setting around the Northeast Kingdom. We work with local businesses and Hosts in each county of the NEK, to make it convenient for residents across our beautiful region.

We invite our Welcome Wagon monthly newsletter subscribers first, so save your spot and join the newsletter today!
